The SM2558EXP is an expander unit for the SM2558 Stereo Summing Mixer
It allows adding 12 additional active inputs to SM2558 Mixer.
– 8 channels via the DB25 front panel connector
– 2 channels via the TRS sockets on the front panel
– 2 channel via the rear XLR connectors
The front panel TRS inputs can be used to process any stereo signal.
Flexible routing allows to assign summing inputs to channel LEFT, RIGHT or LEFT + RIGHT summing bus.
The connection between the SM2558EXP and the SM2558 Summing Mixer is possible with the included patch cables. More in the user manual.
Important Note
The SM2558EXP will not work as a stand-alone unit. It does not have the outputs.
It requires the SM2558 Stereo Summing Mixer to work.
